Cloud Computing and Information Technology Special Economic Zone
The Cloud Computing and Information Technology Special Economic Zone is a virtual SEZ headquartered at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in Riyadh. Unlike the geographically bounded industrial SEZs, licensed establishments can establish and operate data centers and cloud computing infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. The current framework covers IT and programming, fintech, Industry 4.0, digital health and smart mobility, including related cloud computing and data-center activities. The 2026 ZATCA procedural guidance states that ordinary Saudi corporate income tax rules generally apply to the Cloud Computing and IT SEZ, while the zone has special tax treatment based on OECD principles for certain cross-border payments; ordinary VAT and customs rules also apply. The zone offers supportive digital infrastructure, competitive electricity pricing and expatriate fee relief. This listing is currently unclaimed.
